Occasional source is ranked among the most well-known and most significant springs in whole Slovakia. The spring is weaker during June, Septembre and most powerful during springs months. The maximum capacity is 35 liters a second and the highest temperature is about 6 °C. The spring has been known since 1861, since 1978 the Hydrometeorological institution care about this spring.
